My studio practice is a physical meditation of the way that the natural world moves me emotionally.

There is a deep curiosity that fills me in the early morning and evening hours when the moon and the sun are sharing visual space in the sky. The balance and tension that is ever-changing is what finds me in the studio striving to connect with my inner being and the world outside of myself.

The natural world around me fills me with awe and allows me to distill my emotions onto the canvas. There is an escape and relief in building my paintings, striving to connect with a ubiquitous knowledge of the eternal, ever changing landscapes of the sky, the water, the heart.

My work is place for me to unify my mind and body, to question and to wonder at the power of a glimpse, a moment, a lifetime. I strive to create wondrous images that can offer a space for contemplation, transformation and awe.
